From July 19 to 26, we celebrate the rich traditions and flavours of the Auvergne at Camping Domaine Bonneblond. While last year was all about our opening week, this year we dive into the heart of the region. Together with local producers, guests and neighbours, we discover what makes this area so special.
Local Products from the Auvergne: Butter, Blue Cheese and Bread
If there’s one thing we love at Bonneblond, it’s butter. On bread, in quiche or as a creamy topping on dessert. And our second love? Blue cheese from the Auvergne.
Whether it’s on a baguette with walnuts and fig jam, melted into a rich pasta sauce or served on a platter of local cheeses — it’s a true regional highlight. Creamy, bold and just a little bit surprising at first bite.
From Baker to Winemaker: A Week Full of Discoveries
We are exploring all kinds of possibilities, and here’s a preview of what we have in mind. During the Local Week, we visit local artisans. We stop by the village bakery to see how bread, pastries and quiches are made.
We visit a traditional mill, taste local honey and discover the secrets of wines from the Auvergne. Because let’s be honest — flour, honey and wine are the foundations of the good life.
Discover the Nature of Domaine Bonneblond
On our 70-hectare natural estate, we take you on a walk past fruit trees, nut trees, wild chestnuts and our own vegetable garden. During Local Week, we show how nature, people and local products come together here.

Local Market at the Campsite
Did you know that the previous owners, Willem and Helen, once organised a market at Bonneblond? This year, we would love to bring that tradition back to life. We are in touch with local producers and friends from the region to showcase their products. From cheeses and wines to jams, honey and handmade crafts.
Music, Atmosphere and Long Evenings Together
No festive week is complete without music! During last year’s opening week, live music created a magical atmosphere, and we would love to experience that again. We are currently searching for the perfect local band to give the week an extra sparkle.
In the evenings, we gather around long tables, play games and enjoy the very best the Auvergne has to offer together.
